Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself!

Welcome to my newly revamped website and business!  Some of you may have noticed things look a bit different around this site…  and while Intimacy Coaching is something I believe strongly in, what is more intimate and vulnerable than becoming pregnant and welcoming a baby into this world?

Meeting Flora for the first time! 7/12/17

This past year, I had been considering the importance of my role as a birth partner to my best friend when she had her baby girl in July of 2017.  And I realized, women need support in their lives during this time.  And I mean, ALL the support.  Tribes of women come together in villages when a baby is born - and we need to create that same atmosphere again.

So my question became, how do I incorporate this into my business?  What can I do to support women in this beautiful transition of their lives?  I had finally found my calling.  After completing my yoga teacher training in December of 2018, I became clear on where my business was meant to focus.  I wanted to work with women who are pregnant, and be that supporting role for them through these sometimes tricky waters by using my life coach certification.  I would include my yoga certification and Reiki practice as additional tools to help guide my business and create a unique, individual approach, for each one of my clients.

The coaching space I provide helps women feel empowered to take their birth stories into their own hands.  They are the leaders in their stories, and together we figure out what’s the right path for them so they can create their ideal atmosphere for bringing their baby into this world.

And I am excited to share that I am on this path as well - you really are not alone!  I found out I was pregnant on January 3rd, 2019.  My partner and I were not exactly trying, instead practicing more of a natural family planning. We were planning on trying for a baby this Fall.  Well, turns out we will be having a baby at the end of this Summer instead!

Sometimes the universe gives you the gift of knowing what you need at a certain time in your life.  Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing my experiences with all of you - from finding out I was pregnant, to my difficulties in the first trimester (hello extreme fatigue and constant nausea!), to sharing the news with family and friends.

I am very excited to share my journey with you, and utilize my hands on experience as a birth partner to now being the birthing partner!
